Over 2023, we were able to shine the spotlight on some incredible care companies. As we begin 2024, we wanted to look back at our employers and what they wrote for us.

Making Space

Making Space shared all of the incredible things that come from having a career in care, introducing us to Becky, Registered Manager at the Darlington Extra Care Service. They also introduced us to Chloe, Becky’s daughter, who won the Women Achieving Greatness in Care award at the Great British Care Awards. 

Friends of the Elderly

Friends of the Elderly shared Kateryna’s journey as a Ukrainian refugee coming to the UK and beginning work in social care.

Somerset Care

The Somerset Care recruitment team discussed what Somerset Care did for Care Home Open Week.

Cygnet Health

Cygnet Health recognised some of their ‘social care superheroes’ and what superpowers care workers have.

HC-One

HC-One celebrated their care workers during Professional Care Workers’ Week 2023. They introduced us to Rikki Hall, Niall Hutton, Agnes Chitsiga and Susan Beasley.

Next Step Supported Living

Next Step Supported Living introduced us to Brandon who spoke about MULTIPLY, a government-funded Maths Skills course helping their clients get into work as and when they are ready.

Community Integrated Care showcased some of their award-winning colleagues and teams, as well as the amazing work that they do.
