Support Worker Full time -37.5 hours per week (Part time can be considered) £13.78p/h Full UK driving licence essential with own car. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and proactive people to join our team in Buxton, supporting a gentleman in his 40s who lives in his own home. Every day will be busy and rewarding, as you encourage and empower him to maintain his independence, develop new skills and embrace new opportunities. Life with him is centred around going for drives in his car and walking outdoors, and these are the moments where he feels most content. He is able to do many things independently, but he may need encouragement or support with personal care and cooking. He communicates through gestures and objects of reference rather than words, and he builds unique relationships with those who support him. At times he may experience behaviours of distress, so staff need to be confident and resilient when supporting him through these moments....
