Roland Care Homes:

Our Organisation supports clients in our network of homes in North London. Our specialty is clients with complex mental health needs, substance misuse and Korsakoff’s syndrome. Working Hours:

The job requires you to work a minimum of 20 day hours and 1 night a week and the maximum you can work for a week is 40 day hours and 2 nights. You can choose how many hours a week you will be willing to work between the above requirement of working a minimum of 20 day hours and 1 night. 

We require you to work at least one night shift and one shift on either one weekend. You will have two days off during the week. 

Day Shifts:

The day hours start at 8.30am and ends at 6.30pm. The starting wage is £9.50 per hour. (10-day hours @9.50=£95.00). You and the organisation contribute to your pension and your pay is reviewed based of care qualifications earned, annual appraisals and reviews. Our care staff on average earn £ 32,000 to £ 35,000 pa. 

Night Shifts:

The night shift is from 6.30pm to 8.30am. Between the hours of 11pm to 7am. You can sleep at the premises and in case of your assistance is required then you need to wake up and attend. You will be paid £133-00 for the night. (14 hours @ 9.50=£133.00) 

In-House Training:

While you work at Roland Care Homes, we will support you with your personal development. You will be provided with the required training and support. You will obtain Skills for Care Induction training certificate. You will also be supported to attend other training courses with facilitating NVQ level 3 and 5 qualifications in health and Social Care. 

Salary:

Your salary will be reviewed annually. Your salary increment will reflect your performance and qualifications obtained during the year. 

Roland Care Homes are based in North London in the London Boroughs of Barnet and Enfield. There are 6 care homes and two supported housing projects. All clients are experiencing mental health, substance use and Korsakoff syndrome.
