Poplars Care Home is an independent residential care home whose aim is to provide a high standard quality of care within a homely environment. Rated ‘Good’ for the 5th consecutive year in 2017.
A stone's throw from Ruislip high street, the former 'Poplars Tea Rooms' building has been adapted to provide 27 single en-suite rooms.
There is a separate dining room where residents can socialise during mealtimes, as well as a television room, and a sunny garden room overlooking the rear lawn.
The home is staffed by a team of qualified senior and junior care assistants who are able to cater for any care needs presented. All staff have prior experience and have gained qualifications whilst working at the home to enable them to work to a professional standard.
Poplars Care Home operates a lively activities programme which includes outings, creative tasks and physiotherapy. Regular outings are held to Ruislip Lido, Manor Farm Tea Room and regular attendance to the Tea Dances held at Hillingdon Civic Centre.
