  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and care plans aligned with regulatory and safeguarding standards

  • Recruit, train, and manage a competent and compassionate care team

  • Create a nurturing, safe, and structured environment that promotes healing and positive outcomes

  • Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

  • Lead inspections, audits, and quality assurance initiatives to maintain a high-performing service

  • Liaise effectively with local authorities, social workers, families, and other stakeholders

  • Promote the rights, welfare, and emotional well-being of the children in your care

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a children’s residential setting at Registered Manager or Deputy level

  • Proven track record of preparing for and successfully leading an Ofsted inspection

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare – essential

  • In-depth understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children’s home legislation

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Commitment to trauma-informed practice and child-centred care

  • Resilience, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a start-up environment

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

  • The rare opportunity to lead a new home from the ground up

  • Ongoing investment in training and professional development

  • Supportive senior leadership team and clear vision for growth

  • Chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people
