Weavers Lodge situated in Castle Cary, offers a warm and supportive environment for up to 8 adults with learning disabilities and complex behavioural needs, who may also have Autism, Mental Health conditions, and communication difficulties. Weavers Lodge may sit on a pathway to avoid hospital admission, or help people transition back into the community following a hospital stay.

Here’s what your role as a Support Worker will look like:
Salary Breakdown
- Care certificate/working towards NVQ 2 : £12.50ph
- 12 months experience in a similar setting* : £13.00ph
- NVQ 3 & 12 months experience in a similar setting*: £13.50ph
- 3 years experience in a similar setting*: £14.00ph
* In a similar healthcare/social care setting and experience in supporting individuals with complex needs, behaviours that may challenge, autism and associated mental health conditions.

Support Worker Shifts:
7am - 2:30pm or 2:30pm - 10pm
Working weekends is a requirement however we do operate on a 3 week schedule to encourage a healthy work life balance.

Our care services are provided by three divisions, Autonomy Life, Autonomy Care and Autonomy Plus. Autonomy Life provides residential care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Autonomy Care provides domiciliary care services within individuals’ own homes and in the wider community and Autonomy Plus provides residential care for young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
