About the Role

The purpose of your new job is to give the highest quality care within ourhomes. This will include:

  • Lead on and develop person centred support plans based on assessedneeds and respectful to the wishes of the service user.
  • Administer medication and assisting in the management of an effectivesystem for the safe control
  • Effectively lead, motivate and support care staff by holding ’keysessions
  • Providing end of life care, residential care and dementia care for ourservice users
  • Supporting service users with daily living tasks, i.e. personal care.
  • Liaising with external support parties

Whether you may be giving support with personal care or joining in withuser’s activities, the variety within your role will give you great jobsatisfaction!

About you!

Do I need experience? Yes! Our ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience of 2 years of working in a care or health setting
  • Able to work unsociable hours on a rota shift basis including weekendsand public holidays
  • Specialist knowledge of client group
  • Excellent customer services skills with the ability to communicate, atall levels both internally and externally
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of regulations and legislation within the careprofession

Established since 1992, we’re a charity and not–for–profit organisationthat provides care and support for older people and adults with learningdisabilities. Today, we have 1500 staff supporting over 1,100 residents atservices across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and MiltonKeynes.
