About the Role 

The purpose of your new job is to give the highest quality outreach care to on individual in their home and the community. This will include: 

  • Supporting clients with learning disabilities (Autism). 
  • Involved in writing support plans 
  • Guidance and advice on education and employment 
  • Encouraging participation of activities 
  • Enhancing the lives of our people by providing first class care 

Whether you may be giving support with personal care or joining in with user’s activities, the variety within your role will give you great job satisfaction! 

 

About you! 

While some experience would be beneficial,anyone can apply, we don’t need any qualifications as you will always be learning through ourinnovative trainingand support programme, giving you thebest skills possibleto ensure you reach your full potential. 

  • Good communication skills 
  • Ability to show compassion,respect and patienceto the people we support and to live our values. 
  • Driving Licence and own car 
  • Confident swimmer and happy to support with physical activities 
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism would also be beneficial.

About Us 


Established since 1992, we’re a charity and not–for–profit organisation that provides care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have 1500 staff supporting over 1,100 residents at services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes. 


As a care provider we have a duty of care to our service users and employees to ensure we operate in a safe environment. To ensure we comply with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021 (“the Regulations”), you will need to be fully vaccinated against Covid–19 unless clinically exempt. 

From time to time we may require you to take part in other mandatory health testing and health vaccination programmes.
