Fremantle Court, Stoke Mandeville, provides specialist nursing and residential care for older people, including those living with dementia, in an award winning and beautiful state of the art, yet homely environment. We are currently looking for experienced or newly qualified Registered Nurses (RGN and RMN’s) to come and join our nursing team at Fremantle Court.
Salary: Up to £18.80 per hour (depending upon experience) with paid breaks, plus £4.00 per hour enhancement on bank holidays
Your daily duties will be to:
Ensure that the NMC code of practice is upheld at all times
Act as a role model for all staff and ensure that a high quality of nursing care is provided at all times for our residents
Monitor and manage the health and well–being of our residents
Be involved with all aspects of nursing care, including personal care
Implement, review and update care plans
Medication management and administration
Maintain accurate detailed reports and records
Ensure that residents received planned or urgent healthcare whenever required
The successful candidate will have:
A passion and commitment for providing quality nursing care and the ability to lead our team of dedicated care staff.
A live NMC PIN number. Please contact us if you are newly qualified and can evidence completion of preceptorship.
Clinical knowledge with experience as a Registered Nurse in a care or nursing home
Experience in catheterisation (male and female), wound care, venepuncture and PEG feeds
A reliable, trustworthy and flexible approach to work
