About our home:
Lent Rise House, in Burnham, provides specialist nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia, in a safe and comfortable environment in the heart of the local community. Our 60 bed home was designed and purpose built to deliver high quality nursing care for older people, and it has a nursing unit on each of its four wings.
We are looking for Nurses to join our teams in our Older People Services across the Buckinghamshire area. We have both full and part time positions available, and are able to offer some flexibility around working day and night shifts. We are particularly looking for Nurses who can work weekends!
Salary: Up to £20.80 per hour (depending upon experience) for Days and up to £21.00 per hour (depending upon experience) for Waking Nights, plus £4.00 per hour enhancement on bank holidays. Includes a location allowance of £2.00 for day nurses and £1.00 for waking night nurses for all hours worked. Paid weekly for Relief.
Your daily duties will be to:
Ensure that the NMC code of practice is upheld at all times
Act as a role model for all staff and ensure that a high quality of nursing care is provided at all times for our residents
Monitor and manage the health and well–being of our residents
Be involved with all aspects of nursing care, including personal care
Implement, review and update care plans
Medication management and administration
Maintain accurate detailed reports and records
Ensure that residents received planned or urgent healthcare whenever required
The successful candidate will have:
A passion and commitment for providing quality nursing care and the ability to lead our team of dedicated care staff.
A live NMC PIN number. Please contact us if you are newly qualified Nurse and can evidence completion of preceptorship.
Clinical knowledge with experience as a Registered Nurse in a care or nursing home
Experience in catheterisation (male and female), wound care, venepuncture and PEG feeds
A reliable, trustworthy and flexible approach to work
