About our home


The Heights, High Wycombe, provides outstanding nursing care for older people, including dementia care, in a cheerful and welcoming environment.  Our dedicated and passionate team are looking for talented Nurses to join them.
We are currently looking for Registered Nurses (RGN or RMN) to come and join our nursing team at The Heights.  We are able to offer 12 hour shifts, working full time or part time hours. Weekend work only can also be considered.

Salary: Up to £18.80 per hour / £38,299 per annum (depending upon experience) with paid breaks, plus £4.00 per hour enhancement on bank holidays.

Weekly Covid tests for staff.

Your duties as a Registered Nurse will be to:

  • Provide respectful high–quality nursing care for residents
  • Plan, write, implement, review and update care support plans
  • Support the staff team to achieve excellent nursing and care
  • Ensure that residents receive planned or urgent health care whenever required

The successful candidate will have:

  • A passion and commitment for providing quality nursing care and the ability to lead our team of dedicated care staff.
  • A live NMC PIN number.  
  • Confidence in their clinical knowledge and the ability or desire to lead a shift
  • Experience in catheterisation (male and female), wound care, venepuncture and PEG feeds
  • A reliable, trustworthy and flexible approach to work
  • Previous experience working in a nursing home is desirable, but not essential

About Us

Established since 1992, we’re a charity and not–for–profit organisation that provides care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have 1500 staff supporting over 1,100 residents at services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes.
