About the Role

The purpose of your new job is to give the highest quality care withinour homes. This will include:

  • Lead on and develop person centered support plans based on assessedneeds and respectful to the wishes of the service user.
  • Administer medication and assisting in the management of aneffective system for the safe control
  • Effectively lead, motivate and support care staff by holding ’keysessions
  • Providing end of life care, residential care and dementia care forour service users
  • Supporting service users with daily living tasks, i.e. personalcare.
  • Liaising with external support parties

Whether you may be giving support with personal care or joining in withuser’s activities, the variety within your role will give you great jobsatisfaction!

About you!

Do I need experience? Yes! Our ideal candidate will need todemonstrate:

  • Experience of 2 years of working in a care or health setting
  • Able to work unsociable hours on a rota shift basis includingweekends and public holidays
  • Specialist knowledge of client group
  • Excellent customer services skills with the ability to communicate,at all levels both internally and externally
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of regulations and legislation within the careprofession

About Us

Established since 1992, we’re a charity and not–for–profit organisationthat provides care and support for older people and adults withlearning disabilities. Today, we have 1500 staff supporting over 1,100residents at services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire,Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes.
