Do you have background in reception work? Looking for a change of scenery and routine. Whatever your front of house or reception background, if you’re looking for a role where you’ll be truly valued, The Fremantle Trust could have just the job for you.
About the role
We want you to help us by providing an important front of house role. As well as meeting and greeting visitors and residents and answering telephone calls, we’ll also rely on you to provide vital administrative and secretarial support to the team. Keeping the reception area looking clean and tidy will be important too. And, when necessary, you’ll even act as a tour guide as you show people around the home.
As well as experience of front of house/reception work, we’ll be looking for strong admin and office IT skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) and a high level of numeracy and literacy. Someone who’s comfortable chatting with anyone and everyone, you will have a smart appearance and are always ready with a smile. What’s more, you love representing our service and organisation with your flexible approach to work.
Why work for us?
"I’ve never enjoyed a job as much as I do this one, working with The Fremantle Trust. We’re like a family, it’s a great working environment and I’m always learning!"
Established since 1992, we’re a charity and not–for–profit organisation that provides care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have 1500 staff supporting over 1,100 residents at services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes.
As a care provider we have a duty of care to our service users and employees to ensure we operate in a safe environment. To ensure we comply with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021 ("the Regulations"), you will need to be fully vaccinated against Covid–19 unless clinically exempt.
From time to time we may require you to take part in other mandatory health testing and health vaccination programmes.
All Fremantle staff must understand and actively participate in the Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Equality and Diversity policies and procedures to ensure that people who use services, other staff and stakeholders are safe and respected in Fremantle services
