We have an opening in our Fremantle Court home for a Registered Manager to join our team. We are looking for an experienced and successful Home Manager that has worked within a residential nursing home setting. Our managers need to have strong decision–making skills, knowledge of budget management and current care legislation. At Fremantle we support our managers through our Leadership Academy to equip you with the very best skills and experience. This is a great opportunity for a registered manager to join our flagship site rated ‘Good’ by CQC and drive it forward to further success.
Fremantle Court is located overlooking the Chiltern Hills and is a multi–award–winning and innovative care home providing care for 90 residents Our exceptional care home, with a highly trained and experienced team provides expert nursing and residential care for people with a variety of care needs, including dementia care.
Our ideal candidate
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience of working as registered manager within a nursing home
· Proven experience of managing large teams of internal staff (approx. 100)
· Has worked in a similar size 90 bedded home
· Proven experience of managing commercial budgets, driving occupancy and fee management
· Strong ability to build relationships internally with staff and residents and their families
· Experience of working successfully with stakeholders and CQC
· A nursing background is desirable but not essential
· Holds a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
