ABOUT THE HOME
Our sought-after care home is purpose-built from beautiful Cotswold stone and offers residential, nursing and dementia care. The home has many lovely spaces from the welcoming bistro and comfortable lounges to a well-stocked library, a popular hair salon and an activity room. Our beautifully landscaped gardens have different seating areas, and you’ll find residents catching up with visitors here or even keeping busy planting and watering flowers. Residents enjoy regular outings, and there’s plenty to explore on our doorstep. Chipping Campden is in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds, and residents sometimes pop to one of the old pubs for lunch or browse in the boutiques and gift shops.
We offer fantastic training and development opportunities, each of our care workers work towards their Care Certificate, giving them the confidence to deliver first-class care.
We also undertake a wide range of diverse training, from manual handling to infection control and safeguarding. We have an extensive training team, consisting of regional trainers as well as a network of in-home trainers, able to deliver programmes to colleagues.
In 2015 we launched our own dementia training programme, called ‘My World’. This is accredited by City and Guilds and was awarded the Princess Royal Training Award, every employee is given the opportunity to learn and develop.
