VSA have an exciting opportunity available to join our Westerton Service as a Support/Care Worker based in Aberdeen. This will be a part-time permanent position and in return, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits.
Hours: 28 hours per week
Rota: 4 week rolling rota over 7 days, working 4 days per week, which will include alternative weekends and a mixture of early and late shifts (8am-3pm and 3pm-10pm). There will be a requirement for sleep in duties.

VSA's Westerton Crescent service was opened in February 1995. It is purpose-built to provide accommodation for nine adults with a history of severe and enduring mental health problems. They may also have a physical disability and require daily support from the staff team to motivate, empower and promote their self-esteem, while maintaining as much of their independence as possible.
Any prior experience would be welcome but is not essential as full on the job training will be provided. You must however be willing to undertake an SCQF Level 6 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent) if you do not already hold one. .
