Contract Type:Permanent

Location:Woodley House, Aylesbury

Salary£50,000.00 per annum plus benefits

Hours: 37 Hours per week

About the role

The Marketing and Communications Manager role is key to the success of ourHomes and Services. We are looking for an experienced Marketing andCommunications Manager with a strategic mind–set and willingness to behands on.

The post holder will be passionate about producing compelling, engagingcontent and campaigns through the effective use of marketing andcommunications.

The post holder will have a key role in promoting the activities of theTrust to all internal and external stakeholders, furthering the delivery ofour aims.

Responsible for creating and delivering an effective and integratedmarketing and communications strategy that is targeted, outcome–focused andevaluated. The post holder will lead on delivery of effective media andpublic relations, marketing, and internal communications activity.

The role involves managing a small Sales and Marketing team with theobjective to grow the Trust’s private occupancy, generate enquiries andpromote the activities of the Trust to all internal and externalstakeholders, to deliver the Trust’s aims

Our ideal candidate

  • Previous experience in the care/ social care sector and understand the requirements around increasing occupancy numbers
  • Strong marketing and communications experience with an eye forinnovation.
  • Demonstrable ability to take a strategic and insight driven approach tomarketing and communications with tangible outcomes achieved
  • Experienced in effective use of social and paid media with the abilityto analyse the return on investment from usage.
  • Proven ability to use insight to create stories and target marketingactivity / campaigns
  • Excellent content development and articulation / presentation skillswith a great attention to detail
  • CRM experience with marketing automation an advantage (customer journeymapping, targeted communications)
  • Effective use of IT packages and solutions to support marketingactivity, including email marketing tools.
  • Excellent understanding of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,and Outlook)
  • Ability to establish, lead and develop a small team
  • Ability to source talented freelancers and coordinate appropriateresources to deliver priorities
  • Effective budget management
  • Proven ability to prioritise effectively and responding to changingsituations
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Professional, approachable, and helpful style
  • Flexible ‘can do’ attitude
  • Great written and verbal communication including confidence and impactin presenting ideas to a range of internal and external stakeholders
