Maybe you already coordinate activities and are looking for a fresh challenge. Perhaps you’ve got a leisure background and are looking to take on a part–time role that fits in with your other commitments. Whatever your background to date, The Fremantle Trust could have just the job for you.

Established since 1992, we’re an award–winning charity and not–for–profit organisation that provides first class care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have 1,800 staff supporting over 2,000 residents at 58 services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes, and North London. Currently, we’re looking for an Activity Coordinator to join the team at Fremantle Court, which is a care home providing care to older people.

You will be an enthusiastic and imaginative person with a warm and caring nature.  You will need the drive to implement your ideas and be able to lead both group and individual activities. You will have a good attendance record and the ability to carry out the everyday duties of the role. We want you to play your part to initiate an ongoing programme of leisure and recreational activities to a consistently high standard, that match the interests of the residents.

Your enthusiastic work ethic will be teamed with the ability to deal with stressful situations and a good standard of literacy and numeracy too. You will have a consultative and responsible nature and ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with others. Specialist knowledge of the client group is desirable; in a role where treating everyone with respect and dignity and doing all you can to help enhance their quality of life will be key to your success.

If that sounds like the kind of good news you’re looking for, why not get in touch? You can find out more by calling our recruitment team on 0333 400 1020.
