About the Role

The purpose of your new job is to give the highest quality care within our homes. This will include:

  • Lead on and develop person centred support plans based on assessed needs and respectful to the wishes of the service user.
  • Administer medication and assisting in the management of an effective system for the safe control
  • Effectively lead, motivate and support care staff by holding ‘key sessions
  • Providing end of life care, residential care and dementia care for our service users
  • Supporting service users with daily living tasks, i.e. personal care.
  • Liaising with external support parties

Whether you may be giving support with personal care or joining in with user’s activities, the variety within your role will give you great job satisfaction!


About you!

Do I need experience? Yes! Our ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Experience of 2 years of working in a care or health setting
  • Able to work unsociable hours on a rota shift basis including weekends and public holidays
  • Specialist knowledge of client group
  • Excellent customer services skills with the ability to communicate, at all levels both internally and externally
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of regulations and legislation within the care profession

About Us

Established since 1992, we’re a charity and not–for–profit organisation that provides care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have 1500 staff supporting over 1,100 residents at services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes.
