If you have worked as a domiciliary carer, health care assistant, been a carer in a care home or hospital, then we’d love to speak with you about joining our team.
About the role:
You will be visiting clients in their own homes, working as a domiciliary carer with a minimum call time of 1 hour. Our clients are based in Richmond, Highgate, Hornsey, Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham, Raynes Park and Putney.
You will assist with:
Supporting clients with their personal care
Supporting with continence management
Administering medication
Light housework
Preparing healthy meals
Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
Supporting clients to pursue their interests and hobbies
Offering specialised care for people living with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, strokes and other conditions, as well as end of life care
We’re looking for:
A minimum of 6 months’ professional care experience working, for example in a care home, nursing home, healthcare assistant, domiciliary care worker or similar
Household management skills e.g. cleaning, hoovering and keeping a home tidy
Ability to work effectively within time allocated
Reliable and punctual
Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
IT skills – able to use a computer / laptop and online systems
