Job Description

Healthcare Assistant - Ivy Court

  • Norwich, Norfolk
  • Full time - 42/36 hours
  • Day shift 8am - 8pm
  • Occasional Night shift 8pm - 8am
  • Work 11 hours and get paid for 12. Your contracted rate of £8.91, becomes £9.62 with your paid breaks on top. *

    *applies for 12 hours shifts only

ABOUT THE HOME

Ivy Court is a purpose built Nursing Home in Norwich offering residential, nursing and specialist dementia care for up to 71 elderly residents.  

Ivy Court in Norwich has many enticing spaces to relax such as the bistro and quiet lounges dotted around the home. We understand that residents like to continue to look their best, so our hair salon is open regularly for beauty treatments and pamper sessions. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have en-suite bathrooms. Many of our bedrooms have private access to our tranquil and secure landscaped and sensory gardens or private balconies.

We offer fantastic training and development opportunities, each of our care workers work towards their Care Certificate, giving them the confidence to deliver first-class care.

We also undertake a wide range of diverse training, from manual handling to infection control and safeguarding. We have an extensive training team, consisting of regional trainers as well as a network of in-home trainers, able to deliver programmes to colleagues.

In 2015 we launched our own dementia training programme, called ‘My World’. This is accredited by City and Guilds and was awarded the Princess Royal Training Award, every employee is given the opportunity to learn and develop
