We have an exciting opportunity to support our existing team and manager in the Shrewsbury area. Your role will be to assist the service manager in delivering outstanding levels of care to our clients. We currently support five services in a supported living setting. Clients attend a range of activities including horse riding, local discos, football matches and comic con events. The team is diverse with people from many walks of life.

We are looking for a team player who is confident, a good communicator, flexible, a good listener, empathetic and person centred.

Sleep ins and weekend/ bank holiday work may be required.

You will be required to be on call for this role ( Shared with other assistant managers throughout the company).

About You:

Essential Requirements:

  • Level three diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the care sector
  • Knowledge of compliance
  • Driver with UK manual licence
  • Have an understanding of Person-Centred Planning
  • Previous experience working with Positive Behaviour Support
  • Experience of working with people with Learning disabilities and Autism
  • Experience managing medication
  • Need to be flexible, to work shifts and manage admin hours
  • Confident in IT knowledge/skills/systems
  • Experience of team building
  • Participating in the on-call Rota is a requirement.
  • Ability to manage workload
