Falcon-Care Blackburn are looking for friendly, compassionate, and caring individuals to join our Home Care team
If you have personal experience of caring for a family member, voluntary experience, working in a care setting or experience of interacting with older people then this could be the role for you. Experience is not necessary because full training is provided, both those with experience and those without are equally welcome to join our team.
You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. We are looking for people who are reliable, trustworthy, patient and respectful and able to work alone or as a team using initiative and have a professional manner .
About the role
Your role as a Care Worker would be to build relationships and a bond with your clients to deliver person centred care. This may include tasks such as meal preparation, administration of medication, personal care, getting ready for the day, shopping, housework, escorting the client to appointments or simply having a chat and a cup of tea.
Shift times required
- 7am - 330pm
- 7am - 6pm
- 330pm - 1030pm
- 6pm - 11pm
- 8pm - 8am
- 10pm - 7am
Essentials
- Must be able to work alternate weekends
- Must have a smart Phone
- Must be able to work in a fast demanding job
- Must have flexible availability
Preferred but not essential
- Previous Experience in a health and social care setting
- Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
- Qualifications within Health and Social Care
