We’re looking for live-in care assistants to support our clients working on average 6 - 8 hours per day on a live-in basis (rather than the standard 10 hours). This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may be looking to take a step back from more complex care, but still wants to enjoy all the benefits that live-in care can bring.
Live-in care assistants working in a 6 or 8 hour live-in placement typically stay with our clients for a minimum of 6 weeks at a time, but many choose to stay longer. We’ll ensure you’re well supported by our team of experts and have generous daily breaks!

You will be engaged to work with us for the duration of your placement. We handle all your tax and national insurance deductions during that period, so that’s one less thing for you to think about, you will also be paid a holiday entitlement
You might have professional experience as a support worker, or as a care assistant in a residential or domiciliary care setting. Or you might already be an experienced live-in carer looking for a new way to maximise your earning potential. Whatever your level of professional experience, we would love to hear from you. Please note you must already have the right to work in the UK as we cannot assist with any sponsorship or visa requests.

What does a live-in care assistant do? You will be living with a client for the duration of your chosen work pattern. You’ll look after one person or at times a couple, following a person centred care plan where you’ll tailor your support to meet your clients’ needs. Duties are likely to include:
Assisting with daily activities
Personal care
Support in managing conditions such as dementia
Cooking, cleaning and ensuring the smooth running of the household
You could be working on average 6 - 8 hours per day based on your clients’ needs
About you:
You’ll be someone who’s happy to talk, laugh and enjoy time with our clients, assisting them in their activities and encouraging them to live life to the full. You might already be working as a live-in carer, or you might have professional experience as a support worker, care assistant in a residential or domiciliary care setting, or you might be a HCA working with the NHS. We’re looking for the following skills and experience:
At least 6 months’ professional care experience gained in any care setting
Proof of your right to work in the UK. (E.g a British passport, settled or pre-settled status as part of the EU settlement scheme, or a current visa that allows you to work in the UK with no restrictions). We cannot assist with any sponsorship or visa requests – including those applying for a health and social care visa.
You must be flexible to travel to your client placement

Please note any successful applicants for this role will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check for working with adults. It is a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in Regulated Activity (under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable groups Act 2006) to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with that particular group.
*Your daily rate is based on the agreed number of daily hours (DAHA) you are working.
