Astor Care is looking for kind, caring people to join our friendly team. No experience or qualifications necessary - full, paid training provided. If you have brought up a family you probably already have many of the skills needed to be a great carer.
In order to apply for this role You need to be able to drive in case you have to take clients to appointments or out shopping. We pay petrol allowance at 40ppm.
Our carers work mainly part time hours which are agreed at interview and vary from carer to carer. We are always keen to find people with some weekend or evening availability.
The work involves travelling between different clients homes and supporting them with everyday tasks that they may struggle with. Tasks vary between clients but may include:
- Helping with washing, dressing, personal care
- Tidying the house
- Shopping
- Prompting medication
- Being friendly and supportive
We provide full, paid training and pay competitively (£11.85 - £14.45ph) plus holiday pay, plus £225 starting bonus and extra for bank holidays - up to £23.91. We try to work in a paper free way with your work and care notes on an App on your phone.

Astor Care & Nursing have been delivering care since 1990. We support clients in their own homes in the Woking, Guildford, Godalming, Farnham and Bordon areas. We are a family run company with an excellent reputation amongst local professionals for delivering an excellent service to our clients and looking after our carers.
We pay weekly with a competitive rate (£12.45 + £15.20ph) which increases a little with experience or at the weekends. We pay holiday pay in additional plus a petrol allowance between clients and paid training.
We do a face to face interview with all our interested applicants and offer some shadowing shifts before taking up a DBS (criminal records check) and references prior to starting.
You need to be over 18, eligible to work in the UK, resident in an area we work in and preferably have your own transport. You don't need any formal qualifications and we will train you prior to starting.
