Night Lead Location: Meadowcroft Care Home, Thame, Oxfordshire Pay rate: Up to £13.11 per hour Contracted hours: 36 hours per week Shift pattern: 7:00pm - 7:00am including alternate weekends ABOUT THE ROLE Do you have experience of delivering care in a residential or family setting? Leading a team of carers, you’ll be responsible for keeping wakeful watch on the security and safety of our residents and the home in general. Whether it’s helping residents with their night-time routines or personal care, providing companionship, supporting with light household duties or administering medication, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring they are leading happy and fulfilled lives. You might have previous supervisory experience, like delegating tasks, supporting inductions for new starters and 1 to 1s but this is not essential. What is important is you are a positive role model, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others. A supportive individual, able to motivate others to deliver the best possible care to our residents at all times. Alongside being confident taking charge and being able to use your own initiative to resolve problems and deal with queries.
