We are looking for that special someone to lead and manage two services in Oswestry and Shrewsbury. This is a terrific opportunity to provide support to individuals in shared living environments. As a Service Manager you will work with two established services assisting our supported people to reach their full potential.
In Oswestry, we support three individuals in a shared setting. You need to have a sense of humour and work in inspired ways to enable the individuals to live the lives they all want to. The ladies attend drama and knit and natter groups.
In the Shrewsbury home, we have three people with complex needs who enjoy a array of activities, of course this time of year they are busy preparing for Halloween and seeking out the best pumpkins. Both services operate 24/7, offering a combination of shared and one to one support. Each service is lead by a Team Leader who balances administrative responsibilities with direct support hours.
Your role will involve leading the day to day management of the services, ensuring people receive high quality support to develop and maintain their independence and take part in creative community and leisure activities. You will bolster the Team to 'think outside the box', so the supported people are offer a wide and diverse variety events and support.
The Service Manager we are looking for will have significant experience in the Adult Care Sector, you will be confident, good with IT and systems, a great communicator and able to work with people across all levels. It is important for you to have understanding and practise of person-centred and positive behaviour support. You will encourage your team to work together, for the best outcomes and have the ability to solve issues that arise.
Candidates who do not have a Level 5 qualification, will be considered as long as they have suitable management experience and knowledge of the sector.

Bethphage is a charitable and specialist provider of support for adults (18+) with learning disabilities. We provide a diverse range of care and support services for more than 150 adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and mental health needs across Shropshire and the West Midlands.
Our support varies depending on the person’s needs, ranging from two hours a week to 24 hours day and night. Support is provided in people’s own homes, their family home, in individual or shared tenancies and out in the community. We support people in small group settings or on an individual basis. Our aim is to always provide person centered support to help people connect with their community through meaningful activities and interests.
