If you are caring by nature and looking after others, then being a carer at Augustinian Care could be for you.
We are looking for dedicated, warm-hearted Care Assistants to work in our Care Homes. This special role will see you supporting the team and help to provide dedicated, expert care to our residents while allowing them to live fulfilled lives.
The work can be intense and demanding and you will require compassion, patience and understanding, but the rewards and job satisfaction can be high.
You will be part of a happy, welcoming team all of whom contribute to the positive and friendly atmosphere of our Homes, whilst at all times offering the high level of care we pride ourselves on.
Care Assistant duties
A crucial part of the role will be implementing each resident's person-centred care plan, by recording observations such as weight, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, nutrition and liquid intake. Above all, you will be performing any duty that is necessary to help our residents to retain their dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Some knowledge of caring for the elderly or vulnerable is preferable but not essential, more important is your compassionate nature and willingness to learn.

Afternoon shifts: 1.45pm – 9.00pm
