Jewish Care’s services are at the heart of changing people’s lives for the better. We aim to ensure that our Residents lead meaningful lives.
The role of Activities Organiser provides the residents with a range of stimulating recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities, which are client centred, age appropriate and are in keeping with Jewish Care’s philosophy of care. Supporting residents in leading as independent a life as possible in a caring and supportive atmosphere, whilst ensuring that dignity is maintained.
Working in consultation with residents, families and colleagues to develop and implement a programme of stimulating activities, including outings, that will meet the social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs of residents and enable them to lead as full a life as possible.
This post is working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday with extra hours available on weekends during festivals, and fixed term for 12 months
About Us
We are a leading health and social care charity for the Jewish community in London and the South-East. Although we care for a specific community, our employees come from all faiths, backgrounds and nationalities. It also means they’re valued and supported in just the same way we value the people we care for - at Jewish Care, love is at the heart of all we do.
Our campuses offer unique services including care and nursing homes, Retirement Living apartments and community centres.
We provide care that is Jewish at heart for older people. And we support their family members every step of the way. Every week, we touch the lives of 10,000 people.
Our Purpose
We want to make a positive impact on the lives of Jewish people by providing excellent social care that enhances their well-being and helps them to stay connected to their community.
We’re also committed to inspiring our employees, developing their careers and creating an environment where they love every day.

We are a Disability Confident Employer, and in a recent survey, 95% of staff surveyed felt Jewish Care embraced diversity and inclusion.
