Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Activities Co-ordinator with a passion for delivering excellent care.

You’ll be working 40 hours per week across the 7 day period, including weekends / the occasional Bank Holiday, as rostered. 

Cygnet Alders Clinic is a 20 bed rehabilitation service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex trauma needs.

Your day-to-day…

  • Develop, plan, implement & oversee activities, outings & events for the people in our care  
  • Prepare an activity timetable across the 7 day period.
  • Organise and run activity groups for the people in our care
  • Provide fun & constructive leisure time, as well as appropriate physical & emotional support 
  • Ensure the provision of staff, space & materials for all activities
  • Encourage and motivate colleagues to support the activity programme
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials for events

You are...

  • Knowledgeable of suitable activities & pastimes to support mental health service users
  • Positive in your approach to working with challenging behaviours 
  • Experienced in planning, resourcing & carrying out events & activities

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
