We are looking for wake night support workers to join our team at our care home, Bradbury Lodge, in Whitchurch, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

Due to the needs of the people we support at Bradbury Lodge, this vacancy is for female Wake night Support Workers only*.
*Some of our roles requires requires males, females and race specific employees only, where this is indicated this is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
A support worker’s role is exactly what it says on the tin- to support people to live their lives in the way they choose. You will support people, often in their own homes, to do things that are important to them and detailed in their care plan to ensure they live the independent life they choose.
Part of the waking night duties will include cleaning tasks and ensuring they are on hand to provide support should one of the people we support wake up, this may include personal care.
The most important qualities for a support worker to have are kindness, patience and compassion.
Some of our roles will include personal care, managing medication and lone working.
Bradbury Lodge is a transition service which supports adults with learning disabilities and complex needs supported by a fantastic team of support staff who share in Bethphage’s values.

Bethphage is a charitable and specialist provider of support for adults (18+) with learning disabilities. We provide a diverse range of care and support services for more than 150 adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and mental health needs across Shropshire and the West Midlands.
Our support varies depending on the person’s needs, ranging from two hours a week to 24 hours day and night. Support is provided in people’s own homes, their family home, in individual or shared tenancies and out in the community. We support people in small group settings or on an individual basis. Our aim is to always provide person centered support to help people connect with their community through meaningful activities and interests.
