We are looking for support workers to join our team in Shrewsbury supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

A support worker’s role is exactly what it says on the tin- to support people to live their lives in the way they choose. You will support people, often in their own homes, to do things that are important to them and detailed in their care plan to ensure they live the independent life they choose.
The working day is varied and could include a range of activities, from supporting someone to do their weekly shop to going swimming with them. You will be making a difference to someone’s life every day.
The most important qualities for a support worker to have are kindness, patience and compassion.
Some of our roles will include personal care and managing medication.
You will be joining a fantastic person-centred team in Shrewsbury working across two services to support two gentleman who live in their own homes.
You will be supporting one gentleman with learning disabilities and Cerebral Palsy and another gentleman with learning disabilities.
We offer all the training you need to be able to deliver first-class, person-centered support. You don’t need to have done this type of work before, just have the right values, be positive about the difference you can make and be willing to learn.
