Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced female Support Workers to support this fantastic woman in her own flat. We support her to be part of and present in her community, supporting happy and positive lives. We now need a new Support Worker to continue the great work of our support teams so that we carry on putting smiles on people’s faces.
We know that this is a demanding and challenging role with no two days the same, which is part of what makes it so interesting and for people with the right skills, experience, and ability it is a brilliant way to make people’s lives better in lots of different ways.
You will be supporting one woman who is extremely independent and enjoys having choice and control over the delivery of her support. She manages her own personal care, finances, and administrates her own medication but your role as her newest team member would involve emotional and behavioural support. We are interested in hearing from applicants who want to support her with her independence, assisting with building new friendships and support her to understand boundaries. She is incredibly open to participate in new and exciting experiences but already has varied interests such as board games, computer games, going to church, styling hair, painting nails, and going to the gym.
Any experience with BSL or being able to finger spell will be advantageous for your application but full training will be provided for all aspects of the role.
Our benefits:
Our sector-leading package of colleague benefits really builds up... Your benefits can be worth up to £1,220 per year.
