Immacolata House Dementia Nursing Home is looking to recruit a Senior Care Assistant.
Our service is nestled in and surrounded by the beautiful Somerset countryside. It's a superb purpose-built care home and provides the best care and support for 49-residents living with dementia - requiring dementia nursing or general nursing care.
Senior Care Assistant Contract
- Up to £13.00 per hour + £2 per hour overtime
- Contracted to 46 hours per week, includes alternate weekends
- 06.45-19.00
- Pension scheme
- Additional £2 per hour overtime enhancement

Typical Duties & Responsibilities of a Senior Care Assistant
- Following care plans.
- Assisting with personal care.
- Supporting at mealtimes.
- Use specialised equipment.
- Documenting all tasks carried out.
- Undertaking the supervisions and inductions of the care staff/new staff members.
- Attending training courses in line with your personal development.
What we’re looking for in a Senior Care Assistant
- A Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care (or above).
- You're able to demonstrate experience in a similar role.
- You’re genuinely interested in caring for the elderly and committed to delivering excellent service.
- You bring kindness, honesty, compassion and a strong sense of teamwork to everything you do.
