Seeking Support Workers in Bicester - OX26 6HT
We are growing our team in Bicester and are looking for proactive, engaging and caring people to join our close-knit support team.
You will be supporting people, with learning disabilities, and complex health needs, to live their best lives - the lives that they choose to live.
One of the homes is a very peaceful, sensory-oriented home; you'll find no TV here! The people we support require full, intimate personal care, mobility assistance and support in preparing meals and administering through PEG tubes. Whilst each person has their own hobbies, aspirations, and dreams, everyone in the home enjoys music, massage, reading and playing with toys.
Another home is known for being a very lively household where the people we support are always up for anything! In particular they enjoy going shopping, visiting the cinema, having a sing-song at the karaoke, and going away on day trips. The people we support require full, intimate personal care, prompting, mobility assistance, and support in preparing their meals.
Every day will be different, and rewarding, as you encourage and empower each person to be actively engaged in every aspect of their daily lives. This support will include supporting to favoured activities as well as providing support with daily living skills, medication, personal care and mobility assistance, as required.
