Role: Bank Care Assistant
Location: Stuart House Dementia Care Home, Weston-super-Mare
Hours: Bank contract. 07.45-20.00 and 19.45-08.00, shifts between Monday - Sunday.
Salary: £11.75 per hour
THE ROLE
We are recruiting for a compassionate and committed Care Assistant to join our small and friendly team at Stuart House Dementia Residential Home, in the heart of Weston-super-Mare.
Working as a Bank Care Assistant, you will be open to working both day and night shifts on an adhoc basis; supporting residents within the care home, ensuring they receive the quality care they deserve.
Following care plans; assisting with personal care, supporting with mealtimes, using specialised equipment and documenting all tasks carried out. The role of Care Assistant is as varied as it is fulfilling and we believe it is a privilege to provide care and support for the people in our care.

THE RIGHT PERSON
- 6 months experience working in a similar role is required
- Ideally you will hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or be willing to work towards this
- Must be able to demonstrate your ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative
- Must be able to demonstrate a loyalty, flexibility and commitment to the care home
- Must be able to carry out any other necessary duties as agreed with Directors/Operations Team
