Richmond Painswick VillageBupa’s purpose is helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. We do this by providing a broad range of healthcare services, support and advice to people throughout their lives. At Bupa, we have no shareholders. Our priority is our customers and you.
We believe that our healthcare should be accessible to all – for now and in the future. We do this by reinvesting our profits into better healthcare and letting our people have the freedom and support to have a purpose-driven career, whatever path they choose.
We know family can come from anywhere. It’s our privilege to care for over 7,000 residents across the UK – treating each and every person as if they were part of our family.
A caring nature makes all the difference. Everything our people do comes from the heart and has remarkable results. Care can be physically and emotionally demanding but that's what makes it so rewarding.
As a carer, it’s no secret that you’ll need to have the natural ability to be empathetic and kind natured. You’ll make residents your top priority and go the extra mile to put a smile on their face. Not only will the residents become part of your life, you’ll become part of theirs.
We never hold you back. Whatever your background, as long as you have a caring nature, you’ll be sure to flourish.

Each of our homes are filled with committed people who have a real passion for working with people and our residents. Striving to make a positive difference to each one of our residents, we help residents achieve things they never thought were possible.
Our #NeverTooLate campaign encourages colleagues to go the extra mile for residents. Teams have organised flying experiences for RAF veterans, transformed a care home into a live jazz venue, and even helped a resident cross a half marathon finish line.
