Meet the Gents In Abertillery, we support five gentlemen with learning disabilities (aged 57 - 64) to lead richer and more fulfilling lives - the lives that they want for themselves. Their home is always loud and rambunctious, and whilst each person has their own bespoke support plan; dreams, hobbies, and aspirations, each gentleman enjoys banter, music, movies, and getting out and about as often as they can. One of the gents absolutely adores people-watching and rugby, and one loves it when they're lavished with compliments! Most of the gents we support here communicate non-verbally; some have autism and epilepsy, and all can demonstrate behaviours of distress....
