As a Data Analyst supporting our Families First Partnership Programme, you will be part of a major national reform initiative transforming how children and families are supported.

Your analysis will ensure that decisions are informed by accurate evidence, performance is monitored, and improvements are measurable. By creating dashboards, reports and insights, you will help partners understand what is working, identify gaps and drive changes that improve outcomes for children and families.

The programme introduces a whole-system, a children-centred approach to social care, health, education and policing, with a strong focus on early help and multi-agency collaboration. Key elements include:

• Family Help – integrated support for families to prevent crisis and keep children safely at home. 

• Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams – bringing together social care, health, police and education professionals to deliver statutory child protection in a joined-up way. 

• Family Group Decision Making – empowering families to shape solutions and plans for their children. 

• Improved Information Sharing and Data Systems – ensuring timely, accurate support across agencies.  

You will deliver:

• Accurate and timely data feeds to support programme monitoring and statutory returns.
• Performance dashboards and impact reports for boards and stakeholders.
• Data models and visualisations that inform strategic decisions and service improvements.
• Support for the development of shared case management systems and analytic tools.

• Analyse complex datasets and present insights clearly for different audiences.
• Build dashboards and reports using MS PowerBI to monitor performance and outcomes.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and compliance with GDPR and safeguarding standards.
• Work collaboratively with programme managers, IT teams and multi-agency partners.
• Communicate technical information in a way that is accessible and actionable.

The ideal candidate will also have a knowledge of Children’s Social Care services.

The salary for the role is Grade 11, ranging from £32,597 to £36,363 per annum.
