Talocher School are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our Education team.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work closely with some of our male students, providing tailored support to help them thrive both academically and socially. This role involves assisting in the classroom to ensure engagement and progress, as well as facilitating activities outside of lessons that appeal to boys' interests and strengths. You will play a key part in building positive relationships, encouraging confidence, and promoting a love of learning through practical, active, and boy-friendly experiences.

Talocher School offers a broad and balanced curriculum, aligned to the Curriculum for Wales (CfW). Building trust, individual resilience, emotional regulation and communication skills is central to our ethos. We provide a caring and supportive learning environment for learners with ASD, ADHD and other associated Additional learning Needs (ALN).
Talocher School has on onsite therapeutic Forest School provision, as well as Art and creative play therapy. We also have access to offsite vocational provisions which include, hair and beauty, construction and small animal care.
